World's second largest rock salt mines are located in Khewra, Pakistan. These huge deposits of salts are a national wealth and have been a tourist attraction for many years now. Tourists get to be inside a real active mine and they also get to experience some interesting views particularly of a mosque made out of rock salt. Also effects created by lighting and sculptures add to the beauty of this deposit.
